Painter and decorator in Strabane
Strabane is about half an hour up the A5 from Omagh. Lifford is across the bridge, and work on that side of the border is part of the same conversation.
Strabane is the larger town to the north: terraces, Melmount, Ballycolman, and the streets in the centre. It is about half an hour from Omagh on the A5, via Newtownstewart, which is covered on the way. Decorating here is often stairs in a terrace, a rental being turned around, or a shop that needs painting without being shut for a week.
The border is the thing that makes Strabane different from the other towns on this site. Lifford is a few minutes away, in the Republic. Martin describes the business, in his own words, as Tyrone and Fermanagh, north or south. That means he will take a job on the Donegal side when it suits the work, not that every town in the Republic is on a standing round. If you are in Lifford, or just beyond it, say so on the form. If you are much further into Donegal, ask anyway and he will say whether the travel makes sense.
For a shop or a takeaway, tell him the hours you open. He will plan around them where the job allows. He will not promise that every unit can be finished overnight. Houses are more straightforward: rooms, paper, and woodwork, quoted before he starts.
