Enniskillen is the main Fermanagh town Martin covers: the island itself, the streets of older houses, and the estates out at Chanterhill, Hillview, Derrychara and the edges of town. It is about forty minutes down the A32 through Irvinestown. Far enough that he prices the journey honestly, close enough that a proper house or a shop is a normal booking.

Town houses here often mean stairs. A narrow hall, a turn, and a landing that has been repainted around the edges for years. That is the work the photographs on this site are full of: paper above panelling, rails painted properly, and ceilings made good before the colour. Rental houses between tenants are the other regular ask. If you have a date the keys have to be back, put it in the message. A full interior is a different diary slot from a single room.

The loughs change the outside work. Render and older stone stay damp, algae sits on shaded walls, and a coat put on too soon fails. Exterior painting in Enniskillen is planned around a dry spell, the same as on the Sperrin side of Tyrone. Lake air is not a reason to use ordinary interior emulsion on an outside wall.

If you are south of the town, towards Lisnaskea, or west towards the lower lough, those are separate pages. Enniskillen itself is the hub of the Fermanagh work.
