Areas we cover
Omagh is home. The pages below are the main towns in Tyrone and Fermanagh within reach. Plenty of villages in between are covered without a page of their own.
Martin is based in Omagh and works across County Tyrone and County Fermanagh. On his Facebook page he describes the business as Tyrone and Fermanagh, north or south. In practice that means he also takes jobs across the border, including into County Donegal, when the travel suits the work. It does not mean a standing round of the whole of Ireland.
If your town is not listed, you can still ask. Beragh, Sixmilecross, Seskinore, Trillick, Drumquin, Ballygawley, Ederney, Tempo, Derrygonnelly, Maguiresbridge and Lifford all sit on roads he already drives. Name the place on the quote form.
Omagh
MC Decorating is based in the town. Halls, stairs, full rooms and outside work for houses across Omagh, with smaller jobs welcome because the travel is not the job.
Fintona
Fintona is a short drive south of Omagh, close enough that a hallway and a living room is a normal job rather than a long day out.
Dromore
This is Dromore in Tyrone, the village on the road between Omagh and Irvinestown, not Dromore in County Down.
Irvinestown
Irvinestown is the Fermanagh town on the road between Omagh and Enniskillen, and it sits naturally on that run.
Ballinamallard
Ballinamallard is the river village between Irvinestown and Enniskillen. Ground-floor walls in older houses are worth a proper look before any paper goes on.
Enniskillen
Enniskillen is the county town, on the island between the two loughs, about forty minutes from Omagh. The quote includes the travel. It is not priced as if it were a street in Omagh.
Lisnaskea
Lisnaskea is the furthest town on this list, in south-east Fermanagh. Allow about an hour from Omagh. Martin will say if the diary does not justify the trip that week.
Kesh
Kesh is west Fermanagh, by Lower Lough Erne. It is exposed, often damp, and a sensible exterior job as well as an interior one.
Strabane
Strabane is about half an hour up the A5 from Omagh. Lifford is across the bridge, and work on that side of the border is part of the same conversation.
Newtownstewart
Newtownstewart is about a quarter of an hour from Omagh, in the valley on the way to Strabane, with the Sperrins on the doorstep.
Gortin
Gortin is just north of Omagh, at the mouth of the glen. Close enough for smaller jobs, exposed enough that outside paint has to wait for the weather.
Carrickmore
Carrickmore is east of Omagh on the way to Cookstown. Village houses, bungalows and farmhouses, close enough to share a day with other jobs on that side.
Cookstown
Cookstown is about forty minutes from Omagh, out through Carrickmore. It is worth the trip for a real job: a house, a stairs, a shop, or several rooms of paper.
Dungannon
Dungannon is a similar distance from Omagh to Cookstown, on the road via Ballygawley. Houses and commercial premises are both quoted.
